Legend says that moonstone brings good luck and it has been used in jewelry for millenia. Its ethereal glow was said to represent lunar deities by the Romans and Greeks, solidified moonbeams in Hindu mythology and mystical and protective properties during the Middle Ages. It was widely used during the Victorian era and reached its artistic height during the Art Nouveau period (late 1800s and early 1900s).
Honestly, it's easy to see why this stone is so beloved.
This stunning ring features five fiery moonstones set along a domed band. The adularescent cabochon stones are graduated, and have a total weight of 1.26 carats.
Photos truly do not do these color changing stones justice (nevertheless, I’ve tried). In sunlight they glow with rainbow-like flashes of yellow, green, aqua and deep blue.
