Prized for its deep cultural symbolism, jade is often associated with wisdom, protection, longevity and good luck. In jewelry, it is quite frankly the perfect stone - a mix of durability, beauty, and uniqueness, as no two pieces are exactly alike.
The idea for a jade link extender has been percolating for a while, but it wain’t until recently I was able to track down more links (they are becoming increasingly difficult to find). A little sister to our original jade link bracelet, this option uses less gold, and is therefore a more economical and versatile alternative.
Each end is finished with a simple 14K ring, allowing the links to be connected to wide range of clasps or findings. Add to an existing necklace or bracelet to act as a stunning extender (it is shown here with our antique watch chains, which are available and sold separately). Add a carabiner, connector or oversized clasp to the shorter set to create a complete bracelet. Two sets can be connected to created a stunning collar. The options are endless.
