Vintage 9K Hand Engraved Bangle Bracelet

Originating in England, this gorgeous 9K bracelet carries complete UK hallmarks and is in excellent vintage condition.

The outside front and back of the bracelet are engraved in an all-over floral/scroll motif, and a sweet personalized engraving on the inside reads "Karen from Grandma June 1966". The bracelet is an oval shape, with a perfectly functioning hinge and snap closure and safety chain. This piece is stunning on its own, or will make a bold statement as part of an arm stack. Size: Bangle is 2.35 inches wide and 2.0 inches from front to back, with a 6.88 inch inner circumference. The bracelet band itself is 8 mm wide and 4 mm thick.

• S&P: Denotes the maker, Smith & Pepper, a British jewelry company that operated in Birmingham, UK from 1899 until 1981
• 9: Denotes solid 9K gold
• 375: Denotes 37.5% pure gold
• Anchor symbol: Signifies the piece was assayed (tested and marked for purity) at the Birmingham, UK assay office
• P: Denotes the year the piece was made, in this case 1964-1965
• Zell Bros: Zell Brothers was a well-known jeweler in Portland, Oregon, that operated for more than 95 years. The piece was likely imported to the US and subsequently sold by Zell Brothers.
• Made in England

Condition: This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. There are minimal small dings along the rim, consistent with typical age and wear. While still fully functioning, the safety chain is showing signs of age. While not at all necessary, this would be very easy to replace - please let me know if you'd like a quote!
